Statement Memory Foam is series of new sculptural work exploring psychological trauma and the limits of mental capacity when processing an extreme experience.
Bio Portia Roy is a Portland based interdisciplinary artist originally from San Antonio, Texas. In 2011 she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Pacific Northwest College of Art, and in the fall of 2014 she will attend the Masters in Studio: Sculpture program at the School of The Art Institute of Chicago.
