Statement You're in the thick of it when you're fourteen. A couple years out of elementary school, perennial peer groups have shifted, and new cliques have formed. Maybe this shuffle has been to your benefit, or maybe you got left behind? Maybe you have a grown up body now, or maybe you're still waiting for that little spurt? You'll be in high school soon. Back to being fresh meat. Are you a straight shooter? How important is that permanent record anyway? Do you smell funny? Are you really going to wear that? It doesn't fit right anymore. It doesn't look right anymore. How does it look in hindsight? Did you find yourself?
Fourteen is an evening of performance and spoken word curated by Travis Nikolai in which 5 artists revisit what it meant to be 14 years old. Performers include: Mario Gallucci, Cory Huff, Rubina Martini, Sarah Sentilles, and Robert Wyllie.
