Statment The way artists work/interact with their materials often dictates or communicates the concepts. When you alter a work how does the idea of the piece shift, what happens if someone does this for you? How do we make sense of the materials when they've altered, do we struggle with the initial intent or do we flex easily? Jonathan Gann and Daniel Long will be interacting with each other's work for 7 weeks testing how, or rather to what extent, their concepts are attached to their chosen materials.
